About 

iSabelo Preparatory Academy (iPA) an integrated, sustainable and comprehensive intervention of Educational Support via skill building, remediation & extramural programs as pillars of foundational learning, Care and Community support in a form of a weekend Classroom with programs for Children in grade 1 to 7. 

It is a vibrant and supportive learning space outside the regular school week, giving children the oppotunity to build & strenghten their academic skills while enjoying a positive & couraging environment.

It is designed to support learners at different stages of their school journey, IPA blends focused academic support with creative, physical, and social activities — helping children learn, catch up, and grow with confidence.

Aim

 To foster intellectual and social development of Children through extramural  and remedial activities.

Objectives 

Encourage children to build relationships with like-minded and positive peers promoting social and emotional maturity. Improve school culture and inspire a community of academically driven children.

How Learning Happens

Learning takes place in small groups of no more than 15 learners per class, allowing facilitators to give individual attention and tailored support.

Each session focuses on:

📘 Language & Literacy
Reading, comprehension, spelling, writing, and language support aligned with school learning.

🔢 Numeracy & Mathematics
Reinforcing number sense, problem-solving, and mathematical understanding.

🧠 Revision, Practice & Catch-Up
Time to revisit concepts learners may have missed or struggled with during the week.

🤝 Guided Support & Mentorship
Facilitators support learners academically while building confidence, focus, and positive learning habits.
