iSabelo Tutoring Service is a dynamic and innovative educational platform dedicated to providing personalized tutoring services to students from grade 1 - 12. We believe in nurturing academic growth, fostering critical thinking, and instilling a lifelong love for learning.

As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their academic goals and unlock their full potential. You will work closely with students, tailoring your tutoring approach to their individual learning styles and needs. Whether in-person or online (zoom), your role will involve guiding students through challenging subjects, boosting their confidence, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in-person or online (zoom).
2. Assess students' current knowledge and learning needs to develop personalized tutoring plans.
3. Explain complex concepts in a clear and relatable manner, adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
4. Create engaging and interactive lessons, utilizing resources such as digital tools, visual aids, and real-world examples.
5. Monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
6. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and self-confidence.
7. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress, challenges, and goals.
8. Collaborate with other tutors and educators to share best practices and continuously enhance tutoring strategies.
9. Stay up-to-date with educational trends, curriculum changes, and innovative teaching techniques.

Requirements

1. A Matric Certificate or higher with at least a level 5 in the core chosen subject and a level 4 in the other 2 subjects is advantageous.
2. Proven expertise in specific subject or area of specialization.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
5. Previous tutoring, teaching, or relevant experience is an advantage.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to individual student needs.
7. Proficiency with digital tools and online teaching platforms.
8. Commitment to professional development and staying current in educational practices.
